Join CFSG on Saturday, November 11th, for “CHAD” a Veterans Day Workout!

This year on November 11th, 2023 - Veterans Day - CFSG will be doing a workout we do every year to honor Chad Wilkinson.

This workout named "Chad" was made by his wife after he had passed. Many gyms around the country do this workout in honor of Chad, and veteran suicide prevention awareness. Click HERE to learn more.

The workout like many other hero workouts we do, is not taken lightly. It is tough and grueling. It is 1000 Box step-ups with a weighted vest. Like any other CrossFit workout there are scaled versions of this. So some do this without the weight or lower it. Some change the height of the box to get through the workout. Either way, everyone walks through the doors knowing the day's purpose. It's for a little more than just themselves today, it gives them a little more push.

Options…

Advanced

1000 box step-ups (20in box)

Wear a ruck pack (45/35lbs)

Intermediate

500 box step-ups (20in box)

Wear a ruck pack (20/15lbs)

Beginner

200 box step-ups (20in box)

No ruck pack

Partner

500 box step-ups each or 1,000 achieved together. *Reps do not have to be split equally. You may have your own boxes and work at the same time encouraging one another.
